She later studied economics and French before venturing into the realm of art professionally. Her pursuit of art led her to attain a Master's degree in art from SNDT Women’s University of Mumbai. Her impressive body of work has garnered numerous awards, including the prestigious Amrita Shergill Rashtriya Kala Puraskar from the National Institute of Fine Arts, India.
